Amazon’s fall Prime sale — Big Deal Days — runs October 6-7, and pet deals are already dropping. With four dogs (three of them giant shedding machines) and three cats, I take pet deals seriously, because most “deals” aren’t. These are the ones I’d actually buy: highly rated, genuinely discounted, and judged by the toughest critics I know — my pack.
Prices move fast during a 48-hour sale, so check the listing before you buy. Prices below were correct as of October 5.
Robot Vacuums for Pet Hair (Start Here)
If you live with shedders, a robot vacuum isn’t a luxury — it’s survival. My dogs killed my old Roborock, so I watch this category like a hawk. These are the standouts:
- Shark AI Ultra AV2501S — $239.99 (43% off). Self-emptying base, strong pet-hair pickup. One of the best value robot vacuums in the sale.
- iRobot Roomba 105X Combo with AutoEmpty Dock — $199.99 (42% off). Vacuum and mop with auto-empty for under $200 — the cheapest way into a self-emptying robot this sale.
- Roborock Q10 S5+ — 10,000Pa suction with a dual anti-tangle brush system built for pet hair, plus a self-emptying dock. The pick if you’re tired of cutting hair out of brush rolls.
- ECOVACS DEEBOT T90 PRO Omni — $499, its lowest recorded price (it was averaging around $745). 30,000Pa suction with a self-washing mop. The splurge pick.
Dog Beds Worth the Money
- Bedsure Calming Donut Bed (Large, 36″) — the internet’s favourite calming bed: raised rim for head-resting, extra-plush faux fur, washable. Size up for big dogs.
- Bedsure Orthopedic Dog Bed (Large) — egg-crate orthopedic foam with a removable washable cover. An Amazon’s Choice pick and one of the best values in large-breed beds.
- Bedsure XL Crate Mat (44×32″) — waterproof liner, fits crates or works as a standalone bed for dogs up to 100 lbs. The practical pick for puppies and seniors.
How to Shop the Sale Without Getting Burned
- Not every “deal” is real — compare against the actual pre-sale price, not the inflated list price.
- Most deals need a Prime membership, but a free trial covers the 48-hour window.
- New deals drop three times daily, so check back if your pick isn’t discounted yet.
I’ll update this post during the sale if I spot anything else worth grabbing. Happy deal hunting — and your vacuum deserves the backup.
